News | AimZonic Triton Moderators are Unleashed
We are delighted to announce the addition of the Triton to the aimZonic range of moderators. The original Compact, Plus and Cyclone models are now joined by the Triton 42 and Triton 50.
The over-barrel Triton range are the shortest in the family adding only 10.9cm to the length of the rifle, this is shorter even than the diminutive Compact! Both Triton models have a new stainless steel internal gas regulation system that has no baffles, making these moderators suitable for Magnum calibres and intensive shooting. Steel interiors notwithstanding, the Triton is lighter than the equivalent Cyclone version by quite a margin.
The Front section of the Triton is calibre specific whilst the back section, bearing the thread nut, is not. This allows you to stock front ends in the popular calibres and a range of rear tubes with different thread nuts to instantly accomodate your customers.
Prices of the Triton have been set to be exactly the same as the Cyclone with the same trade discount margin.
Launching at the same time is a Ceramic Paste from Liqui Moly. With a heat tolerance range of 140 degrees C to 1400 degrees C this paste is recommended by aimSport to prevent thread nuts seizing to the aluminium tube. Supplied in a convenient 50g tube, the Ceramic paste has the same trade discount as the aimZonic range.
Thread sizes available at launch are M14, M15 and M18, together with the Imperial sizes of 1/2" x 20 UNF and 1/2" x 28 UNEF.
